Smokey Rebel is a family business creating BBQ rubs and spices based in Kent, UK. I have had the pleasure of working with them over several years by creating fun characters, designing graphics for labels, packaging, stickers and more. Each spice can label is designed in the format of a playing card with a different animal representing a character for each product such as Rooster Cogburn, Davy Crockett and more.
The challenge was to create eye-catching and homogenous branding so you know they’re all part of the same set yet distinctive enough to communicate that each can is packed with a different flavour and personality.
